It was engaging from start to finish. My minor gripe is that they introduced a scene that was deemed controversial by fans and removed it from the games yet they decided to add it to the movie, ok lol. Other than that, every scene had the right amount of comedy, action, suspense, and dramatic shot transitioned perfectly. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an amazing movie with great voice acting and nostalgia from other Mario games. I personally think nothing is wrong with this movie, unless you are someone who's only played the games on the NES or the new games. If you are, you may not get some of the references like(spoiler alert) Star Fox, Ukiki, Rosalina, Luma's, and some other stuff. I would recomend watching if you've seen the first and if you've played Mario Galaxy.
