Some stories exist to tell how loss transforms a person. This Mexican production by Rodrigo Valdes sets out from precisely that breaking point; it questions how love and anger can coexist side by side in the same heart. Carlos Estrada, played by Omar Chaparro, is a disciplined and honorable man who devoted his years to his country. But life strikes him such a blow that this blow takes him beyond everything he defines. Training, medals, rules... None of this holds any meaning anymore. All that remains is a raw and burning emotion: demanding an explanation. From this point on, the film allows us to observe how both the character and the narrative change internally.
