In this age when social media has infiltrated into every corner of our lives, the traces we leave behind screens are not just pieces of data; sometimes they remain as deep wounds that open in a person's psyche. This short film, directed by Defne İner, meticulously addresses one of those wounds. This seemingly brief five-minute duration can transform into astonishing intensity in the hands of an experienced narrator. Instead of taking the viewer on a long journey, he lands, imprisoning him in a momentary blow; and the sound of that blow continues to ring long after the curtains have closed. The characters portrayed by Emiralp Üzen, Belinay Aşlar, Ismayıl Seyidov and Berk Mumcu present a small but sharp cross-section of today's society with the network of relationships they have established with each other. Although the issue of digital desensitization has been addressed in many works in recent years, it often fails to go beyond superficial criticism. Here, the issue is not sacrificed to slogans or message concerns. The story takes a different place by treating cyberbullying not as an abstract social problem, but as a concrete damage that it leaves on the body and mind of a real person. This is a narrative that makes you question how the crowd in front of the screen becomes invisible as it raises its voice, and how the individual becomes lonely in that noise. Even the title itself seems like a poem in itself. The bottom of the well is a closed, cold, hard-to-reach place. And there, at the deepest point, is a speck of blue. This color evokes both coldness and a kind of hope or trail. The film's tone embodies precisely this dichotomy: it neither offers complete despair nor easy solutions; it stands somewhere in between. Although the short film format is often underestimated, in the right hands it achieves what feature films cannot: it leaves the audience breathless. This production takes exactly five minutes to ask which corner of our conscience we ignore. And these five minutes are by no means light-hearted.
