Finding the absurdities hidden in everyday life, turning an ordinary conversation into a forty—minute adventure and never boring the audience while doing it - this is exactly what Seinfeld has been doing expertly for nine seasons. This production, created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, left its mark on American television from 1989 onwards and fundamentally transformed the concept of comedy series. At the heart of the story is the bustling, noisy, and distinctive atmosphere of New York. The scenes that take place on the narrow streets of Manhattan, in restaurants, in apartments convey the spirit of the city so vividly that the viewer almost feels like walking on those sidewalks. The real magic of the production lies in the fact that it progresses in the opposite direction, rather than building a world from scratch. Seinfeld has been described over the years as a series "about nothing," and this description has been interpreted both as criticism and as a compliment. In reality, that "nothing" is actually everything: waiting for a table in a restaurant, buying clothes from a dry cleaner, seeing eye to eye with someone you don't know in an elevator. These seemingly small, meaningless moments take on unexpected depth and become a comical impasse in the characters' hands. The chemistry between the four main characters is the most important element that keeps this production going. While one struggles with a neurotic existence that constantly undermines itself, the other questions all societal rules with a sharp tongue. The third fills the screen with a completely different energy the moment he enters the door; the fourth stands right in the middle, both an observer and a shooter of all this chaos. What sets Seinfeld apart from being an ordinary sitcom is the sharpness it brings to observational comedy. There are few productions that deal with the small inconsistencies of human nature, the comicality of social codes and the strange obligations that coexist so brilliantly and remorselessly. Maintaining this tone throughout nine seasons and one hundred and eighty episodes is an achievement in itself. From the very first episode, you sense that you're in for one of the most influential comedies in television history.

This series was absolutely hilarious. I have to admit, I missed out when it first started and happened to catch it with my brother one day. I believe we had seen Jerry on TV once or twice (this was way back when a lot of people didn't have cable TV) and this series became the funniest thing on TV. I watched it whenever I could but that wasn't enough. Finally, quite a few years later, I bought the DVD set and watched everything in order, plus I watched all of the extras. It is awesome. This...
