Grey's Anatomy
Details
Under the gloomy skies of Seattle, the corridors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital are not just a working environment; they are like an arena where a person confronts himself, death and the seemingly meaningless frailties of life. This production, which Shonda Rhimes realized in 2005, reveals the raw and complex reality behind the sterile surface of the medical world and pulls the viewer right into the middle of this reality. Many medical series have come and gone from the screens over the years, but what distinguishes Grey's Anatomy from them is what people tell about it rather than the dramatic tension of the operating rooms. Meredith Grey and the characters around her are first recognized to the audience as novice assistants. But over time, each of these characters deepens like a novel in itself. If there is an unresolved wound in one person's past, a loss that another person has yet to name emerges in their present. The series achieves a remarkably successful balance by weaving these layered inner worlds together with the urgent pace of medicine. The fact that it has continued for over twenty-one seasons is the most obvious proof that this production is not an ordinary popular series. This adventure, which spans more than twenty years of life, is a journey in which both the characters and the audience grow up, change, lose and find again. While holding back tears becomes difficult in some episodes, a small decision made by a character in others makes one take a deep breath in front of the screen. The tired but resilient attitude that Ellen Pompeo adds to Meredith, the tough and fair balance of Chandra Wilson in Miranda Bailey, the strength that names like Kevin McKidd and Decatur Scorsone provide to the structure in the following seasons; when they all come together, not only a series emerges, but almost a living universe. Grey's Anatomy is a rare kind of production that can appeal to those who like the suspense of medical cases as well as those who want to delve into the depths of human relationships. Every time we sit on the screen, something reminds us: life can be both unexpectedly and unbearably beautiful; and sometimes the biggest surgery is performed inside ourselves.

Worst show ever. Shonda needs to stop right NOW.

Yeah, it's like ER meets China Beach, and, as my dad classically said about China Beach "I don't remember Vietnam being anything like that." It's really who is dating who in a hospital setting and we have seen both before in a myriad of different settings. Unfortunately, sexual tension is really all the tension here, it's the only source of actual drama. And after a season, it gets too much.

I agree it was good for like the first 10 season but it started going down hill after that
