A luxury home on the sunny Malibu beach, where you wake up to the sound of the waves... But the chaos inside this house contrasts starkly with the serene view outside. One of the longest-running and most discussed works in the history of American sitcom, this series, although it may seem like an ordinary family comedy on the surface, actually paints an extremely sharp portrait of masculinity, freedom and escape from responsibility. At the center of it all are two very different brothers. One is a composer who lives life according to his own rules, has turned avoiding responsibilities into a way of life, is fond of wine and women; the other is a prescriptive, constantly frustrated and literally trying to hold on. Watching the chemistry that emerges when these two characters are forced to live together is one of the greatest pleasures of the series. The tension between them never fully resolves, which sets the stage for fresh conflict in every episode. The series derives much of its intelligence from the way the characters wear each other down. The dialogues are sharp, the rhythm is fast, and the sense of humor is quite bold. This structure, which bears the signature of Chuck Lorre, skillfully reflects the spirit of the era and the male-dominated understanding of comedy, although it escapes to cheap laughter from time to time. From the mother to the neighbor, from the sister-in-law to the housekeeper, each side character of the series not only adds color to the main story; it creates a comedic dynamic on its own. The fact that it aired for twelve seasons shows that the series was not only a hit but also transformed into a cultural phenomenon. Of course, this long-term journey did not go smoothly; the changes in the team and the dramatic transformations associated with it were among the most talked-about developments in the history of the series Dec. However, despite all these setbacks, the series managed to survive and maintain its connection with the audience. Enjoyable for those who want to spend a carefree evening having fun, but with a careful eye, this production, which has a lot to say about human relationships, reminds that comedy can be much more than a simple entertainment tool.

The same story all over again, in almost every episode. Tedious, yet there are some great jokes. You would hope it will get better in the next season, it doesn't.
