NCIS
Details
One of the longest-running productions in the history of American television, this crime drama is one of the rare works that has managed to maintain its presence on screens for more than twenty years. While many similar productions have faded and lost their relevance after a few seasons, this series has continued to appear before the audience with a new energy every season. To understand the secret behind this, one must first look at the essence of the series. Set in the cold corridors of military bureaucracy, this universe goes far beyond the format of an ordinary police procedural. Themes such as crimes related to the Navy, the dark labyrinths of espionage, the heavy burdens carried by patriots and the price of corporate loyalty form the backbone of the series. However, a keen sense of humor skillfully interspersed throughout these heavy themes never overwhelms the audience. This balance is one of the most important elements that has sustained the construction over decades. The team dynamics constitute one of the series' strongest aspects. Characters with diverse backgrounds, expertise, and personality traits gradually create a genuine family atmosphere over time. From the cold reality of forensic medicine to the digital mazes of computer hacking, from the adrenaline rush of field operations to the psychological thrillers of interrogation rooms, a wide range offers a different flavor in each episode. Characters change and grow over the years, sometimes breaking down; this human reality adds documentary depth to the series. In this world that bears the heavy atmosphere of Virginia, no crime is merely a crime. Every case carries behind it a human tragedy, a corporate mistake, or an unresolved account. The series subtly demonstrates that justice does not always proceed in a straight line; sometimes one must take detours. If this adventure, which continues with twenty-three seasons and more than five hundred episodes, still keeps a loyal audience on the screen, it's not just because of habit. Each season manages to open a new door of curiosity for the audience. For those who haven't stepped into this universe yet, a long and enjoyable journey awaits.

Written to depress young men. It seems that Bellisario writes mostly the same depressing and predictable story each time. Everything is contrived to kill women with dark hair and dark eyes. I don't know if he was jilted by too many brunettes as a kid, or if he's just into worship of Hitler and the Nazi ideology. Either way, it makes for a depressing show for any young man. I watched about five of these shows, and it was always the same. He bent over backwards for the Nazi ideology, for whatev...
