The 100
Details
The survival of humanity on a space station for generations after a nuclear catastrophe raises many questions. Has the world really died? Can we return one day? And if we do return, what will we find there? This series, created by Jason Rothenberg, begins right on the edge of these questions and plunges the viewer into unexpected depths. A hundred young criminals are thrown into a seemingly unexplainable world for the purpose of exploration. Most of them are young, none of them are really ready. The struggle for survival is presented in an extremely raw and harsh form even in the first season; however, the series does not remain merely a survival story. Over time, political calculations, moral dilemmas, power struggles, and the search for identity become the lifeblood of the story. The threats faced by young people on earth are not limited to nature alone; the real turmoil arises within individuals themselves and in their relationships with each other. One of the most striking aspects of the series is that it does not draw sharp lines between good and evil. Every decision carries a price; every leader must come to terms with their own morality. Clarke Griffin, played by Eliza Taylor, embodies a remarkably compelling character journey in this regard. Their burden is heavy, their choices often cruel; but above all, they are realistic. Over time, other characters also cease to be mere supporting figures and become individuals who stand out with their own inner worlds. Over the course of seven seasons, the series demonstrates the courage to constantly renew itself. The story does not remain confined to a single place or time; the universe expands, questions deepen, and themes change. Although this sometimes creates the impression of disorder, when looking at the overall picture, the series' appetite for change is what distinguishes it from a clichéd post-apocalyptic narrative. This production, which began with the tagline "youth series," quickly transforms into a much more mature and thought-provoking narrative. It constantly keeps alive the question of what is the essence of humanity: the values that give it existence or the survival instinct? The answers may not always be satisfactory; but the weight of the questions lingers with the audience for a long time.

This show is a hook and really interesting, and most definitely one of the best TV shows I've ever watched. Continually challenged my reasoning on leadership decisions and taking responsibilities, especially when one is faced with few or no options.Lots of gritty moments, full of suspense, and you would always anticipate something would go wrong, even while trying to keep, and negotiate for peace, question always is "from who". Just reflects on the things we do in life itself for survival, relat...

My current favorite **obsession**! I've got to admit that it takes a lot for me to get into a tv series, and The 100 delivers. I like the suspense and the character's strong leadership roles, and compelling performances from the lead actors. _fun facts_ * Bellamy and Clarke are actually married in real life. * David J. Peterson invented the fictional languages of Dothraki and Valyrian for Game of Thrones. He is also the one who developed the Trigedasleng language for The Grounders on The ...

**The percent of your brain that you need to turn off to watch this** The premise seems interesting, but the writing is hilariously bad. There is scifi written in the 20th century that is more accurate and interesting than this garbage. The anti nuclear themes made me think the original story was written in the sixties, which would have explained a lot, but it's actually from 2013, which makes the "science" even more laughable. The only scifi thing that they got right is the B mov...
