Some stories transcend time. Some characters, on the other hand, are engraved in the memory of generations and live there forever. Ash Ketchum is exactly such a character; an ordinary boy, a great dream, and an endless journey undertaken for that dream. this anime series, which came to the screens in Japan in 1997, soon ceased to be just a cartoon series and turned into a global cultural phenomenon. At its core lies a seemingly simple premise: a little boy sets out to explore the world with his Pokémon companion. But this journey becomes a story of friendship, growth, facing defeat, and rising again. Ash's adventure does not have an ordinary beginning in the first step. The Pikachu next to him is neither docile nor reassuring at first. They are looking at each other like two strangers. But one of the strongest aspects of the series sprouts right from here: how bonds are formed, how trust is gained, and how relationships are strengthened through difficulties. Over time, Pikachu ceases to be merely a TV series mascot; he becomes a reflection of a soul. Throughout the series, Ash encounters new cities, new Pokémon, and new opponents. Tournaments, battles, mysterious enemies, and unexpected friendships follow one another. But what's truly captivating isn't the action itself, but the emotional layers hidden within that action. Each region adds its own unique atmosphere and color to the story; each new character brings a different perspective to Ash's world. This breathless journey, spanning 25 seasons, reconnects viewers with the purest emotions of childhood. It offers the warmth of nostalgia to adults and the power of imagination to children. A good anime doesn't just entertain; it teaches something, it makes you feel something. This series does exactly that: it continues to keep the "I can do it too" feeling alive in the audience, defying the passage of years, continents, and languages.
