Elliot Alderson is an ordinary cybersecurity expert by day; by night he turns into a silent and invisible judge who looks out for the most powerful companies in the world. But the real issue is not what he did, but who he is. This series, which was born from the creativity of Sam Esmail, has become one of the most original psychological experiences of modern television by standing out from dozens of works on Decoy culture. Elliot is not merely a computer genius; he is someone who tries to disconnect from society, cannot trust people, and even approaches his own mind with suspicion. Rami Malek gives such an introverted, layered performance in this role that the audience often feels the weight of looking at the world through his eyes personally. Every time it appears on the screen, the things it doesn't say tell much more than what it does say. The series addresses corporate corruption, economic inequality, and digital surveillance not as superficial backdrops but as the story itself. The issues they discussed are of a kind that resonate even more strongly today. But underlying all this social criticism lies a much more personal and much darker journey: the question of how childhood trauma shapes an adult's perception of reality. The deeper one delves into Elliot's mind, the more blurred the boundaries of reality become. Played by Christian Slater, Mr. The robot figure adds a completely different dimension to the series. The relationship between these two characters progresses by constantly posing new questions to the audience; finding answers is much more difficult than you might think. The visual language is also faithful to its narrative. Unconventional camera angles and compositions where characters are framed from the edges of the screen rather than the center create a deliberate sense of unease. The choice of music and the use of silences complement this atmosphere. Everything is designed to immerse the viewer into Elliot's mind. Works that manage to maintain their tension throughout four seasons, making you rethink the previous episode with each new installment, are rare. This series leaves a lot to talk about when it ends; not only in terms of its plot, but also in terms of the questions it poses to you. It's truly difficult to find a series that delves this deeply into the themes of insecurity, identity, and the nature of reality.

I wasn’t at all interested in watching this series for some or other excuse cause the advertising and marketing that was part of the marketing. Really never was intended at me . I was really captivated with Elliot’s society hang-ups and his lack of people skills. The series was very compelling and it had me mesmerized. THAT WAS THE 1st SEASON however . Season 2 was really detached from what direction the first season was aiming at . The 2nd season was disappointing and thankfull...

I pretty much avoided this show, until someone pointed me to it, around the end of season 2. Starting off watching it from the first season, first episode, I was able to binge watch season one, and by the time I got to the end of season two, in one sitting. As stated by another reviewer, I was also mesmerized by the show, and being able to watch each episode one after the other, and with no week long gaps, I found that as soon as one episode was finished, I immediately fired off the next. ...
